Submission Instructions

Submission categories include full paper (up to 8 pages), short paper (up to 4 pages) for main conference and special sessions, and poster (4 pages). Please, note the different deadlines for the different submission categories.

The papers must be written in English, carefully proofread, and formatted to Conference Publishing Services Manuscript Formatting Guidelines, Please use the following templates for preparing you papers:

Word Template (ZIP) or LaTex Package (ZIP).

By submitting a paper the authors confirm that their paper represents original previously unpublished work, and that if accepted, at least one of the authors will register for the conference and present the paper.

How to submit a paper

Submissions are to be made to the CW’2014 submission web site at:

https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cw2014

Please, note that you will be required to create an account at Easychair in case you are a new user.

The submission procedure is comprised of two steps:

  • firstly, you must send the abstract of your contribution;
  • then, the full /short/poster paper can be submitted.

 

In case you intend to submit a paper for a special session, please be careful to select the appropriate session during your submission procedure.

Authors may optionally upload supplementary material (up to 20MB), which may include videos, audios and images to showcase results/demo of the proposed approach/system.

With the electronic submission system, you can submit your papers and edit your submission as many times as you need before the submission deadline. The authors are encouraged not to wait till the submission deadline and register their paper titles and abstracts as earlier as possible to facilitate the reviewing process. What happens next

Once you paper is submitted, a confirmation message is automatically sent to the email address you used to register.

Your paper will be assigned to three reviewers for technical evaluation. Reviewing is single blind. After evaluation, a decision is taken regarding your paper. The decision will be notified to the corresponding author at due time.

Accepted papers will be submitted by their authors directly to the Conference Publishing Services (CPS). The authors will be able to use the CPS PDF eXpress online tool before submitting their final manuscript. Instructions about this step will be added later on.
