Aims and Scope:

World Heritage is often bound to specific sites and objects. To facilitate further documentation, access and preservation of cultural heritage sites and objects, digital technologies must be explored and developed. Today we have Ultra high-resolution 4K and 8K technologies, mobile devices, augmented reality and crowd-sourced content. There are many possibilities in creating new and connected virtual museums, Serious Games for cultural heritage etc. In addition, there are are many interface designs such the KINECT. The field is changing dramatically (see: http://convergentmedialab.com/ for our recent activity in the field).

In this session, we welcome original research papers and proposals about novel approaches towards cultural heritage made digital.
